OI-SiteBuilder is the software that OpenInferno will dispatch with any web design project we take on. The unique extension system allows extensive control over how the software runs, allowing you to add new features to your website, such as a calendar, gallery etc. The software comes with a complete media and gallery embedding system that allows you to implement images, videos and many other types of media into your pages - all through a simple click.

The software runs through a simple template system, meaning you can completely re-design the software to the exact look and feel that you require. By default, the software comes with a full-resource of additional features, such as an AJAX image header rotator, a contact and support system, a staff management system etc.

How to upgrade

If you are upgrading OIBlogs from version 1.0.0, it is advised that you update all the files released in the new version. Once you have uploaded all the new files download the 1.0.0 Updater and upload the update100.php file and point your web browser to that file. You are now up-to-date!

Well, I must admit, once I have a design, I'm never quite happy with it and they usually end up being relayered and completely redesigned a lot! That was when it hit me, almost two weeks ago (along with the fact my parents were throwing ideas at me of how to make it "easier" to navigate through, even though I originally thought it was easy); but I guess, I was wrong!

I went away thinking of how to make it so much easier to control, and it shows that the simplest methods, in some cases are the most effective. So I have put together a new design, and it shall be released with version 1.0.1 once development of the version has been completed a couple of weeks. Scary to think that so quickly, more designs and ideas are flying to me, ways that I can make everything so much simple, but that is what it is all about, simplifying every process you are required to do to get the most out of your blog.

So let me start with an image of the work, with more to follow!

I've finally got around to adding the plugins that I've put together. Make sure you check out the gallery, and get maximum use out of the portal and sharing photos with ease!

I will be putting together some documentation once we have a solid release, so that you too can start designing plugins, but this allows you to use the AJAX plugin installer and see the plugins in action!

That is right. I have released OI.Blogs version 1.0.0. It was released on the 21 February 2010! 

OI.Blogs is an easy-to-use and free blog software. It includes all normal features of a blog and extends beyond them with a social-networking based style, giving your blog users immediate access to Twitter, so you can update your Twitter whilst blogging, it also uses a dynamic plugin, skin & language system meaning that your blog can be modified to exactly how you want it.
